Getting started with the Matterport extension

The Matterport extension for Easy Property Listings shows your Matterport 3D virtual tours on your listing pages. Add a tour link to a listing and the extension finds it, embeds the 3D tour on the listing page and adds a 3D View button that takes buyers straight to it.

It also works with tour landing pages from Little Hinges and Captur3d, and you can add any other tour domain in the settings.

Requirements

Easy Property Listings, active.
WordPress 6.0 or later and PHP 7.4 or later.
A Matterport (or Little Hinges / Captur3d) tour link for each listing.

Install the extension

Install and activate it like any Easy Property Listings extension. See How to Install an Extension. Enter your licence key under Easy Property Listings > Licenses to receive updates.

Add a tour to a listing

Edit a listing and paste the tour link into any External Link or Mini Website URL field in the Files and Links section, then update the listing.

That's it. The tour now shows on the listing page, with a 3D View button next to the listing's other buttons.

Same link in more than one field? No problem. Each tour shows once, with one button. A tour link pasted into the Video URL field is moved to a free External Link field, so it doesn't show as a broken video.

On the listing page

By default the 3D View button sits with the listing's other buttons, and the tour is displayed where your template outputs extensions (the epl_single_extensions hook). Clicking the button scrolls to the tour, or opens it in a lightbox if you prefer.

In your listings admin

Listings with a tour show a 3D Tour label in the Listing Details column, so you can see at a glance which listings have one. Click the label to open the tour. A listing with more than one tour shows a count, for example 3D Tour ×2.
