How to manually update FeedSync
In some cases due to servers and PHP missing modules you will need to manually update FeedSync.
Some errors that you need to solve on the server which prevent automatic updating are:
- CURL errors
- PHP version (Older FeedSync versions do not support PHP 8.0+)
- Missing PHP modules (Check your FeedSync Help page > System Info button for errors)
The manual update process in FeedSync is straightforward. You can either use the server File Manager or an FTP program to update specific files and folders in FeedSync.
Download FeedSync
Download a copy of the latest version of FeedSync from your account or the Check For Updates page from your FeedSync installation. A valid and active license key is required. If you do not have one, just purchase a license for FeedSync here.
Unzip FeedSync on your PC
Unzip your downloaded FeedSync on your PC.
FTP FeedSync Files
FTP the following files onto your server replacing the existing files:
- /core (entire folder)
- index.php
- license.php
- readme.txt
Leave the following folders intact on your server.
- /input
- /output
- /processed
- config.php
Access FeedSync and login and you should now be running the latest version.
