WPMU Dev Whitelist the FeedSync Server

Some hosting like WPMU Dev have additional security layers on the server that can prevent communication with the FeedSync Service. For example the word "location" can trigger a firewall rule and prevent delivery of a listing you your WPMU Dev hosted website.

All you need to do is add the FeedSync Service IP address to the whitelist to allow delivery of listing data to your WordPress site.

Add the following IP address.

209.38.23.243

How to add the IP address to WPMU Dev hosting system.

Login to your WPMU Dev account, click on the site to bring up the dashboard.

Next hover over hosting and select tools.

Finally click the security tab and Edit the Web Application Firewall.

In the popup add the IP address to the IP Allowlist

Scroll to the bottom and press save. 

This will now allow the FeedSync Service to deliver listing data into your WordPress site without triggering security rules that have the word "location" in them. And being a real estate listings website, the word location is frequently used.
