How to configure the Search Results pages in Divi

You can use the Divi Builder to create a layout that will display listing search results.

Goto Divi > Theme Builder

In the Divi Theme Builder screen click Add New Template

 Select Build New Template

Now select the {NAME} Archive Page for each listing type you have activated in the Divi Template Settings pop-up; e.g

  • Property Archive Page
  • Rental Archive Page
  • Land Archive Page

Next click Add Custom Body.

Then Build Custom Body

This will load the Divi Editor. (Note the header and footer will be missing in the editor as we are only editing the middle part of the template in this step).

Click Insert Row

Then click Insert Module and search or select the Text module.

In the text module add the shortcode [listing_results]

NOTE: we are working on a fix so that results actually display in the editor. (for now while you are setting up the page just use the [listing] shortcode.. BUT DO NOT FORGET to change the shortcode back to the [listing_results] shortcode or your search results will not work and you will see the same listings no matter what search you perform)

Once you replace the [listing] shortcode with the [listing_results] shortcode press save.

Now when you view your search results or listing archive page this will be the template that displays. So you can add headings, images, call to action elements and whatever else you want on the page.
